About Overbrook Tire Yard

Located at 1301 Saw Mill Run Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15226, Overbrook Tire Yard operates as an used tire shop serving Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement. Wheel and rim shops repair bent or curb-scraped wheels, refinish them and sell aftermarket sets. Seasonal demand peaks before winter in the northern states and before summer road trips everywhere.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 am–4 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Overbrook Tire Yard at (412) 452-1316; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Customers rate it 4.9 out of 5 on Google across 530 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded used tire shops in Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Pittsburgh peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Have been coming here since I’ve moved here from Jersey, very nice people. The men always explain everything to me in detail and Sean is amazing. Definitely would recommend coming here if you need anything tire related. My whole family comes here because they are just that good. I trust them to take care of me and my family so that speaks volumes. Amazing establishment.

I can’t recommend Tom enough! I had a flat tire that couldn’t be repaired, and he went above and beyond to help me get a replacement quickly and affordably. He even stayed open late to make sure everything was taken care of so I could get back on the road safely. It’s hard to find businesses that still provide this level of customer service. Tom was kind, honest, and genuinely cared about helping me out. If you need tires, this is definitely the place to go!

Dan and the team took such good care of me and my car! I couldn't say more positive things about them wanting to make sure they get you on the road safely, getting your tires quickly, putting them on quickly, and letting you know of anything else that you need to take care of with your car to make sure your tires wear equally. I'm with these guys for life because I've never been more comfortable talking with, working with, and paying for anything that has to do with keeping my car safe!

I mean, they recycle tires the best way they can right now and they have fair prices. In fact, their neighbor at Red Line Auto, Paul & his crew really add value to all of us in that he recycles cars the best way known to man: he fixes them. And he sells them at a very very fair price. He stands by his product, and he is approachable and he'll hire you if you have something to bring to the table. I will give overbrook Tire yard five stars as soon as they apply for a grant to have Pittsburgh's first tire grinding factory so we can be more self-sufficient. Did you know that right now you can't actually recycle tires in the state of Pennsylvania? Yes, you have to actually take them to the state of Ohio to be recycled. Load up a tractor trailer driving to Ohio. That is a waste of resources. Sarah Innamoratos team Will facilitate the grant process simply by asking. And if she is unable to, being that the overbrook tire yard is in the city of Pittsburgh, contact Mayor Corey O'Connor and his team will most certainly facilitate said process. 1 2 3 go team!
